Geology and Virtual Quarry, W5 at the Odyssey Belfast

The Geological Survey of Northern Ireland and the Quarry Products Association of Northern Ireland, in conjunction with W5, have installed a new interactive exhibit designed to show the role rock plays in the built environment. Open to the public through admission to W5.

Geological garden, Crawfordsburn Country Park

The Environment and Heritage Service geological garden, which will be developed during 2008, will represent the geodiversity and associated biodiversity of Northern Ireland and explore the relationship of stone with society.

Our limestone heritage, Marble Arch Caves

This Environment and Heritage Service and Irish Wildlife Trust Exhibition highlights the importance of limestone to biodiveristy, geodiversity and people. Open throughout May and June at the Marble Arch Caves visitor centre.
