Liberian Minerals Information System (LMIS)

Comprising a geographical information system (GIS) with linked mineral-occurrence database, the LMIS integrates all available spatial datasets in order to provide a foundation for future mineral-resources exploration and evaluation. Geological, geophysical and mineral-occurrence data can be interrogated and displayed on a variety of topographic backdrops. Staff of the LGS are able to utilise the LMIS to produce bespoke maps.
